Hi Mariia and Stan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello everyone! We are family-Maria and Stan, the founders of Sweet 9 Desserts, a family-run confectionery house with a rich history, where recipes are passed down from generation to generation.
We created a product that can no longer be kept within the family, and I decided that everyone deserves the best that today’s oversaturated market has to offer. I am a civil engineer by profession, but I have always been a creative person and dreamed of creating something of my own. The idea to start a confectionery business came to me when I bought a cake from a good bakery for my youngest daughter’s birthday. After she ate a piece, she developed a terrible allergy on her face, which we only cured a month later. Then I decided to create my own desserts, using only natural, simple ingredients, without chemicals or stabilizers. We lived in Europe for eight years. I gained experience in the confectionery industry, and my husband gained experience in the restaurant business, learning all the rules of high-quality service and product quality. My family and I now live in America and are happy to present our international and European desserts. Sweet 9 desserts are simple, straightforward, and, most importantly, natural. They don’t need any extras, complications, or embellishments. That would only ruin them.
In an age where so much attention is paid to the cover, the constant desire to surprise, and the creation of special effects that distract from the essence, we decided to clearly demonstrate that the content is much more important. And we succeeded!

Our road has just begun, and we are ready to overcome the challenges along the way to our dream. Over the almost two years of our business here, we have received tremendous approval and support from people who truly value naturalness and tradition.
