Hidden Gems: Meet Quella Jackson of The Embrace Group and Fiercely Embraced

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quella Jackson.

Hi Quella, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into this work is deeply personal. It comes from lived experience walking through seasons of my life where I felt misunderstood, unsupported, and surrounded by people who didn’t fully grasp what I was going through. At the time, I didn’t have a community that truly saw me or could help me navigate the complexities I was facing.

There were moments where I had to rely entirely on myself, rebuilding my life brick by brick, learning how to trust my voice again, and finding the strength to keep moving forward even when things felt uncertain.

Through that process, something shifted in me. I realized that no one should have to go through those experiences alone or feel like they have to figure it all out without support. That realization became my purpose.

In 2024, I founded Fiercely Embraced, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and children experiencing domestic violence and post-separation abuse. What started from a place of pain has grown into a platform for healing, education, and advocacy. I also launched The Embrace Group, where I work closely with individuals navigating high-conflict co-parenting, helping them find clarity, confidence, and stability. Along with education for organizations, schools and institutions.

Today, I show up as the person I once needed. I create spaces where people feel seen, understood, and supported because I know what it feels like when that’s missing. My work is rooted in turning lived experience into impact and ensuring that others don’t have to rebuild alone.

I didn’t just rebuild my life I became the person I once needed, so no one else has to go through it alone.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road and I don’t think meaningful work ever is.

Many of the challenges I’ve faced are deeply tied to the very work I do today. Navigating high-conflict co-parenting, overcoming personal adversity, and rebuilding my life while raising my children came with emotional, mental, and financial challenges. There were times where I had to push forward without support, clarity, or a clear roadmap.

Beyond my personal journey, building Fiercely Embraced has come with its own set of obstacles. Starting a nonprofit from the ground up requires not only passion, but resources, visibility, and trust. There have been moments of doubt, challenges with funding, and the reality of trying to create systemic change in spaces that don’t always acknowledge or understand the issues we’re addressing.

Another challenge has been helping others understand the complexity of abuse especially forms that aren’t always visible. There can be resistance, misunderstanding, or even silence when these topics are brought forward, and pushing through that has required persistence and resilience.

But every obstacle has strengthened my purpose. It’s taught me how to lead with empathy, advocate with confidence, and continue building even when the path isn’t easy.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am the founder of Fiercely Embraced, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and children experiencing domestic violence and post-separation abuse, and the founder of The Embrace Group, where I provide high-conflict co-parenting coaching, consulting, and education.

Through Fiercely Embraced, we focus on advocacy, community support, and education. We offer resources, support groups, and programming designed to help individuals rebuild their lives, while also raising awareness around forms of abuse that are often misunderstood or overlooked.

Through The Embrace Group, I work more directly with individuals, families, schools, and organizations. I specialize in high-conflict co-parenting dynamics, including dynamics often rooted in coercive control, manipulation, and ongoing patterns of conflict after separation. I help clients navigate these complex situations with clarity, strong boundaries, and confidence, while always prioritizing the well-being of their children.

In addition, I provide education in schools and businesses, teaching about healthy relationships, trauma awareness, and how to recognize and respond to abuse in both personal and professional environments.

What sets my work apart is that it is rooted in both lived experience and professional insight. I don’t just teach from theory I teach from understanding. I bridge the gap between real-life experiences and the systems that often misunderstand them, whether that’s in families, schools, workplaces, or the court system.

What I’m most proud of is creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported, often for the first time. My goal is not only to help individuals heal, but to create lasting change through education, awareness, and advocacy.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I want people to know that their story doesn’t end in survival it can evolve into strength, purpose, and power. What you’re facing right now may feel overwhelming, but it does not define who you are or where you’re going.

There is life beyond the struggle. There is healing beyond the pain. And there is a version of you on the other side that is stronger than you ever imagined.
