Hi Emmanuel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am Emmanuel Smith! Known as “THE MOTIVATION” to peers. As a dynamic athlete and forward-thinking entrepreneur, I navigate the intersections of God, money , sports , business and entrepreneurship with a fervent passion and a relentless drive. My academic journey began at Saint Paul Central, where I graduated in 2017 , laying the foundational stones of discipline and ambition. This journey continued at Central Lakes College, culminating in an Associate of Arts degree in 2019, further honing my skills and determination.
My educational path reached a pivotal milestone in 2022 when I earned a Bachelor’s in Sport Management from Concordia University, St. Paul. Each step of my journey has been guided by a deep faith, a keen interest in the financial mechanisms that power our world, and a love for the competitive spirit and strategic intricacies of sports. As I blend these elements within the arena of business and entrepreneurship, I strive to create impactful, innovative solutions the resonate on and off the field, aiming to inspire and lead in every endeavor I undertake.
I am deeply committed to motivating the next generation of kids, whether they come from small towns or big cities, to dream big and believe that all things are possible through Christ (Philippians 4:13).
My mission is to show that we can overcome the challenges of low income, racism, and police brutality through the powerful mediums of entertainment, music, sports, and art. I stand as a testament to the fact that with, perseverance, and a commitment to one’s dreams, barriers can be broken and dreams can realized, no matter the odds.
This business is dedicated to My Mother, My Heart. I started this business, due to me seeing the high end value of this entertainment company. When I was younger, I did events for fun. As I grew, older I started to take it seriously.
Me and my mother who passed away December 27th, 2023… Talked about me seriously pursuing this business in January of 2022, as I showed her the vision of this business. She seen the reward from it. Now, that’s she is gone. She lives through me and now I honor her everyday and live for her daily.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing in life comes easy at all. There has been serval roadblocks along the way to get here. However, through the good and bad I weathered the storms and made everything I said I was going to do a reality.
As you know, we’re big fans of THE MOTIVATION ENTERTAINMENT . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a comprehensive entertainment company based in MN. Our operations includes a record label, party entertainment, publishing house & apparel.
The Motivation Entertainment seeks to inspire creatives to have big dreams through entertainment, music, sports and art.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Working out and being locked in during that moment takes me back to working out in a team setting like when I was playing college football. Those times brought me the most happiness and etc.
