Inspiring Conversations with Hayden Ehrisman of Unbakeable

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hayden Ehrisman

Hi Hayden, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Growing up, I always dreamed of operating a food truck and working in the food industry. So, when I was 16, I had an amazing connection that would land me a job for a local food truck that served what I still serve now, edible cookie dough. I worked alongside the owner for 3 years until I got the opportunity to take full ownership of the food truck based company with my parent’s help. Fast forward to now, another 3 years later, my parents are helping me run my dream job of being a food truck owner. We recently rebranded the business to our very own name and created a brand image that fits my personality. I am continuing to grow Unbakeable every day by the skills I learned while I was attending school at the University of St. Thomas.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been a smooth ride, to just put it out there. I was a young entrepreneur (and still am). This is my first business so, I had a lot to learn right away! On top of it being my first business at 19, my family and I went through a rebranding process during the busiest time of our season.

We’ve been impressed with Unbakeable, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Unbakeable is a food truck-based company that specializes in safe-to-eat gourmet cookie dough served by the scoop. We take pride in our handmade flavors offering around 15 different flavors such as chocolate chip, monster cookie, and strawberry shortcake. We also have gluten-free and vegan options! We do serve a small amount of ice cream flavors to pair with the dough. Keep your eyes out for our vibrant trucks on the road all year long spreading delicious spoonful’s full of love and gourmet cookie dough! You can find the cookie dough truck through out the Twin Cities at town festivals, store fronts, Canterbury Park, and any type of private event!
