Today we’d like to introduce you to Lailah Reynolds.
Hi Lailah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started in high school for me. My friend, Keke, and I used to sit together at lunch and go into rabbit holes about our Sun signs. They are a Cancer Sun, and I am a Scorpio Sun. I learned sooo much about those two signs and eventually took an interest in learning about all the zodiac signs. It helped me understand myself, my friends, family, teachers, bosses, etc, much more deeply. I knew astrology was a tool I would use for life.
I graduated in 2015 and continued to read and learn about the Sun Signs in astrology.
In 2019, I was gifted a book that changed everything for me – “The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need”. I learned about all the planets, the zodiac signs, writing and reading birth charts, and so on. I was HOOKED. I knew I was onto something that lit me up, and I wanted to make a career of this.
In 2020, I took part in an 8-week online master class about soul-based shamanic astrology that was all about the archetypes in astrology.
In 2021, I moved to New Orleans on my own. I decided it was time to get certified in astrology! In 2022, I finished my 1-year Astrology Certificate program. YAY ME! A certified Astrologer! My brain was filled to the BRIM with all sorts of new and fascinating knowledge. I was getting really, really good at reading and writing charts.
In 2023, I participated in a 12-week conscious leadership course all about astrology for business and branding. It helped me fully realize my business!
In 2024, I got my LLC, started an online presence, teaching classes/courses, booking readings professionally online, and doing cool things like this interview!
I’m so happy to get to share my knowledge and give people my insights about their built-in tool and map for a deeper self-understanding.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a road! HA! To be fair, for the last 10 years, I KNEW I was meant to do something in the field of astrology. But this isn’t an easy business/industry to bust into. It’s quirky and considered an odd ball career. I’ve had people tell me to find a real job or go back to college to learn something else that would be able to get me a better or useful job. My support system has continued to believe in my path. With my clear dedication to this craft, the people who support me ride hard on this road!
I’m happy I’ve continued down my road with a clear vision of the destination. I haven’t let the naysayers or disbelievers deter me. The road is fun and surprising, the destination is always gonna be there! I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

I am a queer soul-based, motivational astrologer. I brand myself as your on-hand personal astrologer – here to help guide artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, business owners, and those interested in astrology, in branding their business & their selves based on their chart. I help them in finding their purpose and aligning launches & timing based on the stars. I read charts from a place of storytelling and optimism. I don’t indulge in fear-mongering or highlighting shadows. I show people the map/blueprint they have built in and hype their superpowers up! I offer 1:1 readings, couples, family, and group readings. I offer classes and events (I have rotating astrology classes held at Moonstone MPLS and other places in Minneapolis). I make handcrafted mini magazines of charts. I create astrology content online. I help people remember their path, purpose, and use the tools astrology offers to remind them of who they are. Astrology can easily be pushed aside and placed into this “lala land” category. But really, it’s a tool we can use realistically to help us find deeper inner insights and alignment.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
For apps – I LOVE “The Pattern app”. It reads people to FILTH, and it’s a quick, easy way to get daily astrological information and insights.
For books – Like I said, the book “The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need” changed my life. I also love Chanis’ book “You Were Born For This”. I LIVE by “The Big Leap” by Gay Hendricks and the “You’re A Badass” book series.
For blogs/resources – I love my mentors and teachers who have gotten me to where I am, like the folks at Cosmic RX (Madi Murphy – a teacher of mine) and Cosmic Baddies (Laurèn Janelle – a mentor/coach of mine).
I use Canva and Procreate for artistic freedom and expression. Pinterest for inspiration. I read new books as often as possible and keep a journal or notebook on hand for random astrological thoughts!
I have been posting fun astrology content on TikTok every 1-2 days (@venus777visions) and enjoy getting to teach out what I know in little bits and bobs!
