Hi Simone, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For over 15 years, I have been offering spiritual readings to family and friends on their personal, professional, and spiritual lives. Connecting them with loved ones who have transitioned and giving spiritual guidance on their past, present, and future.
After several years of working in marketing, event planning, and enjoying every minute of it; the universe advised that I focus on my spirituality as a way of life. I fought that message tooth and nail… and lost. I tried to balance both my professional and spiritual life and eventually had to quit the corporate world.
Readings By Simone was birthed when I finally surrendered to my calling as a spiritualist. At the time I lived in New York and worked in marketing and event planning, living a life that I loved – my path called for something different though. I fought it at first, but after deep self-reflection realized that I needed to focus on my spirituality.
I provide spiritual readings to people from all walks of life. I am proud to share that my clients come from all economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Readings By Simone are done in a space of love, light, and truth and without judgment.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Deciding to walk in your truth is not easy especially when it entails coming out as a spiritualist, intuitive reader, and medium coming from a Christian background. You are afraid of being judged by family and friends. Also deciding to make it your livelihood comes with another set of challenges.
Building a business whose focus is offering spiritual guidance and ensuring that your messaging speaks of integrity, authenticity, and non-judgemental means ensuring you set the right tone. Also aligning with other spiritual and wellness professionals who are aligned with what you do and how you do it.

Sacred Conversations With Our Ancestors is being held from May 2- 6, 2024 at Santosha Resort Barbados. The experience will bring together healers and those in the diaspora seeking a deeper spiritual connection. During the workshops, attendees will discuss mental health and spirituality, spiritual hygiene, and the ancient practice of ancestral veneration. Risk-taking is an important part of entrepreneurship and business. You trust your intuition, skill set, education, creativity, and experience to try something new when the results are largely unknown.
You risk monetary investments, late nights, early mornings, and quality time with friends and family in the hope of achieving your goals. It is not for everybody, and if you have a change of heart that is okay. But you tried and that is what is important.
