Hi Amanda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Beauty has always been my passion, and I have a particular love for Brows and Skincare.
My journey into Brazilians and Body waxing began during my time in Esthetician school. I quickly became known for my expertise in first-time Brazilians and found myself frequently booked for various body waxing appointments.
Today, I proudly operate my suite under the name Pretty AF transitioning soon to Brow Babe, specializing in an array of beauty services. This includes everything from Brows – including waxing, lamination, and tinting – to Body Waxing services like Brazilians, Brozilians, Under Arms, Legs, Back, Arms, and Chest.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I was juggling a hectic schedule, attending school full-time during evenings and weekends, working a full-time job during the day, and being a devoted full-time single mom.
This demanding phase of my life, although incredibly challenging, has undeniably made me stronger. It taught me invaluable lessons in time management, resilience, and the unwavering determination to pursue my goals despite overwhelming responsibilities.
Following my graduation, the challenge became finding the right balance in my life, and the strength I gained during those demanding years continues to drive my determination to succeed.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
Throughout my life, I’ve maintained the viewpoint that traditional luck doesn’t serve as the primary catalyst for achieving success or favorable results.
My staunch belief rests on the potency of intention and the principle of cause and effect. Put differently, I am convinced that the energy, exertion, and intentions we project into the world wield a tangible influence on the experiences and opportunities that manifest in our lives.
