Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelicca Cecere
Hi Angelicca, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been training as a dancer since a young age, starting with ballet and competing in dance throughout my childhood. During high school, I discovered yoga, which became a crucial supplement to my dance training. However, in Minneapolis, where I was living at the time, there wasn’t much of a professional dance community, so I had to take matters into my own hands and train myself. I spent countless hours developing my body for dance, using a combination of ballet, yoga, and stretching techniques to stay in top shape.
A turning point came when I traveled to Arizona during college to train with Slawomir Woźniak at Master Ballet Academy. This experience shifted my understanding of flexibility and body mechanics, deepening my commitment to movement and wellness. I became obsessed with stretching, and from there, my method began to take shape. I combined everything I had learned in dance, yoga, and in my fitness routine, refining my approach to maximize results and keep my body injury-free and limber.
Eventually, I started sharing my journey and techniques on social media alongside my personal trainer, and the response was overwhelming. That’s when I realized I had something valuable to offer on a larger scale, which led to the creation of The Flexout Method.
I’m incredibly proud of the community that has formed around The Flexout Method, and seeing people transform physically, mentally, and emotionally has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this journey. The recognition I’ve received from people I’ve admired since childhood has been humbling. This journey has truly reinforced my mission to help people unlock their full potential and embrace wellness in a way that feels personal and achievable.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges—moments of doubt, setbacks, and the overwhelming weight of responsibility. There were times when I questioned whether I could keep going, especially when things felt like they were falling apart. Battling imposter syndrome and dealing with negative opinions from others made it even harder to stay focused. On top of that, acquiring new business and bootstrapping everything financially was a real struggle. There were days when I wasn’t sure how I’d make it through, both mentally and financially.
But through all of this, I felt a profound sense of God’s calling on my life. It was as if my business became a lifeline, sustaining me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. There was a deeper purpose driving me forward, reminding me that even in the toughest moments, I was being guided toward something greater. It was almost as if I was being carried by something bigger than myself, pushing me to keep going, to embrace the challenges as opportunities to grow. Those moments of struggle became the foundation for breakthrough, and I realized that true growth often emerges from the hardest times.
Through it all, I turned inward to reconnect with my purpose – I’m an artist and my business truly gave me such an incredible outlet to be who I really am. Slowly, opportunities began to open up—key meetings, exciting collaborations, and a renewed sense of direction. Every challenge has taught me something valuable, and I’m more motivated than ever to keep moving forward and share what’s next. It’s been an uphill climb but an extremely rewarding one, to say the least.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As an artist, my work is a fusion of movement, creativity, and wellness. I specialize in blending flexibility and mobility techniques with a mindset that empowers people to connect deeper with their bodies and unlock their full potential. What sets me apart is the way I integrate music into my practice—it’s a lifelong passion of mine, and I use it as a tool to elevate the experience of movement. From custom binaural beats for my courses to carefully curated music for my marketing, I create a unique atmosphere that’s both calming and energizing. My marketing also reflects this creative approach, which I believe sets me apart in the wellness space.
On that note, I’m excited to finally drop my debut single, LMOL, using my Nigerian name (and alter ego), Adamma. It’s a true blend of the creativity, music, and movement that’s at the heart of what I do. You can find it on all platforms now.
Truly, what I’m most proud of is the community that’s grown around my method. The transformations I’ve witnessed—physically, mentally, and emotionally—are truly inspiring. Seeing the investment people make in changing themselves and prioritizing their wellness has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this journey. My goal has always been to help people unlock their potential, not just for their bodies, but for their minds and souls too.
Another element that sets me apart is my background in dance, yoga, and my own personal journey. I don’t just teach people how to stretch or move better; I help them develop a mindset that embraces resilience, growth, confidence, and self-acceptance. Through my online courses, live masterclasses, and workshops, I guide people to step outside their comfort zones and cultivate radical personal growth, helping them stretch, move, and thrive physically and mentally. The combination of creativity, music, and wellness makes the experience unlike anything else in the space, and I’m incredibly excited to share it all.
And The Flexout Experience is going to be a game changer. I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on over the past few years—it’s something truly special.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Yes! There are a few resources that have been incredibly helpful in guiding me to do my best in both my personal and professional life. “Atomic Habits” has been essential in building positive routines, while “Daring Greatly” has taught me the importance of vulnerability. “The Mountain is You” and “Limitless” have both played a role in unlocking my full potential. “Claim Your Power” has inspired me to step into my true strength and face my fears. “The Game of Life and How to Play It” has powerful philosophies and great lessons of faith, while “Who Moved My Cheese” has provided valuable insights on navigating change and staying adaptable.
One of my favorite podcasts, Supersoul Conversations with Oprah, has truly changed my thinking and, in turn, my life. I used to listen to it for hours while braiding out my hair— highly recommend, as she’s interviewed almost all of the authors of the books I’ve mentioned.
Through my leadership work, I’ve learned how important it is to continue investing in both personal growth and the development of others. If anyone is interested in seeing more of my book recommendations, I’ve curated a list on my Amazon storefront where you can find all the books that have helped shape my journey.
