Life & Work with Anne Brady-Cronin of Motley and St. Cloud

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Brady-Cronin.

Anne Brady-Cronin

Hi Anne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I am a transformational psychic coach. I spent 3 decades as a bodyworker specializing in injury-based therapy. It was interesting that people with similar injuries would heal very differently and that clients’ life situations were a significant determining factor. hose in undesirable situations took more time to heal and had lesser positive outcomes than those happy with great jobs and loving relationships. My interest in this turned into my pursuit of training and education in psychology and human behavior, which included becoming certified as a therapeutic coach and hypnotherapist. At this same time, I noticed my ability to “know things” about people and their past was increasing and becoming more and more accurate, so I took the opportunity to begin studying with various national intuitive and medical intuition. From there, I started driving my practice towards helping people heal their minds and emotions rather than their physical bodies.

Over the past decade, my fascination with all things intuition, energy, and self-development has become my passion. As a medium, I can help people connect with passed-on loved ones, often bringing a sense of connection and closure. In my work as a Transformation Coach, I work with people to redevelop new beliefs, values, and personal narratives that allow them to clarify, heal, and create their Great Self. I refer to the Divine Self, or Great Self, as that part of us that has never been attached to the identities we develop from our human experience and always knows our true purpose and potential. Over the years, I have had the honor of helping thousands of people heal their trauma experiences and limitations and step into an active, creative role in how they develop and what they grow in their lives in the future. The sky is the limit!

People sometimes ask me if I get tired of listening to people’s problems all day, and my answer is always “No! I love people!” I will never cease to be amazed at how we come to think, feel, and believe the things we do, and I love helping people move consciously out of the old and into their empowered choices. I often tell people, “I get paid to play for a living,” because that is what it feels like to work collaboratively with people to change their lives. Their Spirit is that wise part of themselves that always knows what is and is not in alignment for them, so helping them work in connection with that sacred aspect of themselves is my version of magical. I work with individuals and groups. My passions are helping people grow and evolve and healing the world as we go.

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been relatively smooth so far?
It has been a challenging road. I went through a divorce in my mid-30s, and that ended up being an incredible gift, even though it did not feel that way at the time. I struggled to support myself, pay a mortgage, and raise a son while finding my way into a new life that many around me, including my family and some friends, questioned. Ultimately, the permission it gave me was to discover the person I was truly designed to be. Growing up, I never felt like I fit anywhere. I always felt different and struggled with self-perceptions. I have always struggled with weight, and so my self-image was an area that left me vulnerable to the harsh opinions of others. I wasn’t raised to believe I was smart or could do anything I wanted, so I have had to unlearn a lot, especially at the beginning of my journey of self-development. On some level, that continues today, but I have learned to let go of spaces I have no control and focus on my relationship with myself and Spirit when the old feelings may creep up. It usually happens when I am in a growth stage, so I observe it and let it show me what I need to know. Coming out into the world as a psychic has been a considerable challenge. Many people are judgmental, from a place of straight disbelief to religious fears and misconceptions about what being psychic or intuitive means. I have had people say very hurtful things to me out of their fears and belief systems. It took me a long time to stand firm in honor of my intuitive gifts and ability to help people, and I am still regularly put down, laughed at, or ridiculed. Over time, I have developed into the wisdom that I am not for everyone, and that is as it should be. We need everyone; there is space to honor and respect all thought forms, so I don’t judge; I choose the people I give my time and energy to more wisely.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I may have covered this in earlier questions: I always have difficulty distinguishing between the art of my work and running a business because both are true simultaneously. While I have a non-traditional business, it is my livelihood, so it is indeed a business. This is where I often tease that I play for a living. I have a goal-oriented personality, so I run my practice with my heart on the human components and my head on the business.

My specialty as a Transformational Coach is to help people connect with their Divine Guidance system and discover the deeper connections that may be holding them back from experiencing themselves in a healthy, happy manner. I work with people to heal, and as a part of that, we work together to replace the old narratives and experiences with those that are in greater alignment with who they see themselves as outside of their old story, support their shifts through a variety of work and techniques, and help them create themselves and their lives in the future. My clients refer their friends and family to me because I am clear and accurate in my work and have a very unassuming personality. I am here to work with people, not on people. I am a great listener known for helping my clients experience “ah-ha” moments that can change everything.

What sets me apart from others is my interest and genuine fascination with the constructs of the mind. This becomes important as it drives me to always know more, understand more, and research more, so I am constantly bringing new perspectives, concepts, and tools to my clients, which greatly benefits them. I love to learn, so continuing to learn and expand myself lets me continue to help my clients grow in their courses. I don’t just say I am a coach; I study and practice and continuously learn to be a better coach.

What people sometimes find surprising is that the things I am most proud of in my life are not what I do for a living. It is what fills my life. I have a weird love of people and their problems, yes. But my most incredible pride has been succeeding as a small businesswoman in a very “unique” business as a single Mom amid the most significant recession since the great depression. That time was hard, and it taught me that I am far more robust, smarter, and more resilient than I ever believed. I am proud of being a wife to a man who gives me reasons to be proud of the person he is. We have great kids and a granddaughter who are wonderful humans. Those are the things that I am most proud of. It is how we as a family choose with intention on how we show up to our lives and one another. I am pleased that we live our lives with clarity on what is most important to us and how we want to experience ourselves. That is what makes my heart sing.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was raised on a small dairy farm in Central MN. I have loved the land and animals as an extension of myself. I always felt different than my family and peers, so being in nature and with our farm animals was always a place of comfort for me. Any day, you can find me in the woods for peace and reconnecting with the spirit through nature. I am an introvert, so I have always needed time alone, and in a family of seven, that was not always easy to come by. I am the youngest of 5 children and a 6-year straggler, so my personality is more of an oldest or only child. I was great in art and science, loved reading, and sang my way through elementary and high school. I came after 3 boys, so being outside, in the dirt, and in sports was far more likely than finding me inside. I played women’s league softball and sand volleyball as an adult and played volleyball and fast-pitch softball in high school. As a good introvert, I have always had a handful of really close friends and lots of acquaintances. I enjoy people but learned to be self-sufficient growing up in the country. I was painfully shy as a child, but I am gifted with a Mother who taught me to smile and say hello to everyone; I still do that! My parents were hard-working people, and our family farm was our livelihood, so everyone pitched in to get things done.
