Hi Beauclarc, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Started in 2020 during the pandemic, the dream was to always live as clean and organic, a pattern of life when I was growing up in Liberia, West Africa. Originally from a war-torn Country and, upon my arrival here in the USA, I ate everything, from fast to processed food. I later realized that most of what I ate contributed to weight gain and potentially serious health conditions.
My mindset and lifestyle shifted and, I became health conscious and intentional about my wellbeing and self as a whole.
I reflected on my Country of Origin, the simple way of life, the organic process in which we prepared food, the fruits and vegetables we ate for healing and wellbeing and, the power of being natural.
Ginger was a staple in our household. My mom made us ginger tea when sick, but we had some form of ginger every month.
After my sober reflection, I decided to establish Pure Ginger for You. A company that produces 100% Organic cold pressed ginger-based juices. I launched PGFY during the pandemic. My thinking was this, ginger will help us and boost our immune system.
Today, we are selling in 3 big farmer markets, we have an online store, we’ve launched our ginger tea line and hopefully, looking for a storefront where we can serve our customers in a well-furnished and comfortable juice bar.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, it has been smooth. The one issue we had was the huge demand and the output of our commercial juicer. This problem has been resolved as we have another juicer being built for us.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Besides PGFY, I am an Architectural Designer. Besides juicing and ginger, I am known for designing buildings, mostly resort hospitality / commercial buildings.
I am proud of my career but mostly, Pure Ginger for You. With PGFY, I feel like I am introducing my culture to my new home, the USA. I really feel so happy when my customers tell me how they feel and love our juices.
I look at PGFY as a Niche Juice Enterprise. We are a standalone. Our attention to how we juice, the produce we use set us apart from other juice bars. Besides, we always sell fresh juices with no preservatives or added sugar.
How do you define success?
Success is a fulfillment of a set vision. A vision that serves others and better the world in which we live in.
