Life & Work with Jarin Quintuña of Burnsville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarin Quintuña.

Hi Jarin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I joined the club when I first met Emi in high school in fall 2019, I volunteered a lot in the group until about a year after covid hit and then I focused on school for a year or two before returning and continuing to help out in the group. I was then considered and elected to be vice president of the group in fall 2024.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I feel it pretty much has been for the most part a smooth ride from my perspective, the only issue is keeping people joining and making the community aware of our group over the years.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am currently going to college for Auto mechanics part of it on scholarship from volunteering through Burnsville anime club. I received the Apple Auto scholarship in 2023.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I’ve certainly leaned how to come out of my shell more and just be proud to be myself.
