Hi Kirsten, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started cleaning on the weekends for about two years as a way to earn some extra income. What began as a side job quickly turned into something much more meaningful. I’ve always genuinely enjoyed cleaning, it’s therapeutic for me. There’s something about putting in my headphones, listening to music or a good podcast, and just zoning out that brings a sense of calm and focus.
Over time, I realized this wasn’t just a way to make money, it was something I truly loved. It became my form of therapy while also allowing me to create clean, fresh, and welcoming spaces for my clients. There’s nothing better than knowing someone can come home, take a deep breath, and feel at peace in their space.
That passion is what led me to grow and continue building what I have today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, it’s been a relatively smooth road, though like any job, there have been a few challenges along the way. Managing schedules, meeting client expectations, and the physical demands of cleaning can be tough at times. But those experiences have helped me grow and become more efficient and confident in what I do.
Each challenge has pushed me to improve, and it’s made me even more committed to providing the best service possible for my clients.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in residential cleaning, with a strong focus on detail, consistency, and creating a fresh, welcoming space for my clients. I take pride in not just cleaning homes, but in helping people feel more at ease and comfortable in their space.
What I’m known for is my thoroughness and the care I put into each home. I treat every space as if it were my own, and I want every client to walk into their home and feel that difference immediately.
What I’m most proud of is building something I truly enjoy doing while also making a positive impact for others. Being able to provide that sense of relief and peace for my clients is what sets my work apart and keeps me passionate about what I do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I believe both hard work and timing have played a role in my journey. I’ve been fortunate to have some great opportunities and supportive clients, and I don’t take that for granted. In that sense, I feel like I’ve had some good luck along the way, and I’m very grateful for it.
At the same time, I don’t rely on luck alone. I’ve worked hard to stay consistent, reliable, and detail-oriented in everything I do. I take pride in showing up and giving my best to every home and business I clean.
I think my growth has come from a mix of being in the right place at the right time, while also putting in the effort to make the most of those opportunities. It’s been a rewarding balance of both, and I’m excited to keep building on that.
