Today we’d like to introduce you to Maddie and Matt Maisch. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Matt and Maddie created Ghost Dog Media, LLC shortly before college graduation. Matt grew up doing various hands-on production/video projects in the Metro area. Matt did various freelance work and took many opportunities to continue growing his skill throughout college. Maddie started in the media industry when she opened up her photography business, Maddie’s Moments Photography (which still exists today under Ghost Dog Media, LLC). Maddie did various photography, including lifestyle, family photos, seniors, maternity, weddings, events, etc. Maddie took on a variety of graphic design projects and social media management clients as well. She also worked with clients on designing websites. Matt and Maddie met in college and ultimately decided to create an umbrella company and a place where clients could go for a one-stop shop for marketing. We work with a variety of clients, from corporate to small businesses. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wide variety of clients! We are thankful for all of the businesses and family’s/couples that help us build our business into what it is today. It was scary as recently graduated students to quit our 9-5 pm/not start a career with an organization. Still, we had endless support from our friends and family, and ultimately it was the best decision ever made. Our vision is to be the Digital Marketing paradise that our clients want and need. We will not be your average 3rd party Digital Marketing Service. We will allow our clients to be as hands-on or hands-off as they are comfortable with. Our clients will entrust us with building their brand and understanding that they will uphold their goals and missions to the highest standards. We are your Digital Marketing Companion.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The media industry is ever-changing. It is important not to fall behind or slip through the cracks in the latest trends. We put a lot of value on understanding our client’s goals and missions for their business. So each client must be given the time they deserve so they can be listened to and make sure that we are keeping our industry knowledge current and relatable for them.

Ghost Dog Media, LLC is a Digital Marketing Company. Our goal is to be an organization (big or small) one-stop shop for all of their digital marketing needs. From website design/maintenance, social media management, paid advertising, creative promotional services (photo & video), brand creation (logo design), and any other services that our clients may want or need. We are a husband and wife team that continually strives to uphold the highest standards. We have a wide variety of knowledge and the degrees to support it. A digital marketing company offering a wide variety of services at high standards sets us apart from our competitors. It is also a large advantage for our couples that book us for their weddings.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Matt and Maddie are extremely hard workers; because of their dedication and passion for the industry, they have been lucky to build a large network of others within their industry. They have been lucky to have many larger organizations take the chance on a newer marketing business which ultimately helped them get started on the right foot. The people that strived to help them make connections and push them to be the best will always hold a special place as they are the ones that helped us create the passion we have today as well as the business that we are so proud of. On a personal note, Matt and Maddie are thankful for the luck of meeting at Bethany Lutheran College. If they had never enrolled in the same photography class, the story of Ghost Dog Media, LLC may be a lot different or even non-existent.
