Hi Micah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
EZ Breezy Movers: A Business Built on Family, Friendship, and One Phone Call
EZ Breezy Movers began in 2020, right when the world shut down. Micah took his baby daughter to stay with his grandparents in New Ulm, Minnesota. He needed a quiet place to think. His job in events had stopped, and life felt very unsure.
Then his best friend Mike called. They had been close since they were twelve. Mike had worked as a mover for years and said, “Let’s start a moving company.” Micah set everything up, but he didn’t expect much to happen.
But only three days later, they got their first move. Then another. And another. Families all over Minnesota were moving to new homes, and they needed help they could trust. EZ Breezy Movers grew fast because people liked how they were treated — with kindness, honesty, and no surprises.
By 2022, the world slowed down again and moving demand dropped. It was a tough year, but the team worked harder than ever, stayed positive, and focused on every customer who needed them — one move at a time.
Now they have two trucks, a strong team of 10 employees, and over 450 five-star reviews from happy customers. Every review means a family felt cared for on a very important day. That’s what matters most.
For Micah, the best part has been being there for his daughter’s first years and helping his wife finish nursing school. For Mike, it’s been discovering he can lead a growing business and change lives one move at a time.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our biggest struggle lately has been that Google is becoming “pay-to-play.” Companies with big marketing budgets get top “sponsored” spots, while smaller businesses like ours get pushed down and its much harder now to find non sponsored business’s. Clicks can cost up to $45-$100 each, making it expensive just to be seen. Even with great service and hundreds of five-star reviews, it’s much harder for new customers to find us now because of the changes Google is making. There is very little awareness around all of this as well which is also very tough, because this doesn’t just effect our small business, it effects every small business nationwide right now.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We’re a local moving company that helps people move homes, apartments, offices, and storage units. We do the heavy lifting, packing, loading, and unloading, whatever people need.
We’re most proud of our 450 five-star reviews. Customers often tell us we were on time, careful, friendly, and efficient.
