Our dental clinic has been operating in Ramsey, MN for quite some time. We bought the clinic a few years ago and Dr. Andrea Wimmergren joined us two years ago.
Throughout the last few years, we’ve gotten to know the community and all of our amazing patients. We’ve worked very hard during the last couple of years to develop a knowledgeable and talented team here at River’s Bend Family Dental. A team that understands our patients want to be cared for and feel anxiety-free.
We use the newest technology to make patient visits as educational and seamless as possible. We offer same-day crowns and digital wellness scans that allow Dr. Andrea to treatment plan with precision and track patients’ oral and overall health over time. We’ve also switched to paperless forms and can now offer online scheduling!
Dr. Andrea and all of us here are dedicated to treating our patients with honesty, transparency, excellence, and care.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Taking over a dental practice from another provider is sometimes hard as the patients and the community have a long-standing relationship with the dentist and team there were here before us.
We’ve been through a lot of changes the last few years and took all the feedback we could along the way to make sure we are providing the most stress-free, educational, and transparent experiences for any of our existing or new patients. Our new team members and technology now allow us to meet our patient’s needs, including, clear payment options, pain management solutions, and extended hours for convenient appointment times.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Dr. Andrea Wimmergren grew up around doctor’s offices (her parents were technicians at Mayo). She’s seen patients treated like, well…patients. And she’s seen patients treated like family. She witness the patients treated like family were the patients who thrived. So that’s what Dr. Andrea does at River’s Bend. That’s why we call it “Family Dentistry.”
Dr. Andrea joined the practice in 2021, after graduating with distinction from The U of M, bringing with me modern techniques and new technology. She is skilled in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, root canals, and oral surgery. She’s even trained in Botox and fillers! Dr. Andrea absolutely loves to make her patients (family) feel better and live pain-free.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
We work with a software called Dental Intelligence that helps us offer digital paperwork to our patients and communication via chat and email. Dental Intelligence is constantly adding new features to the program to make our administrative duties easier and also helps us keep track of daily tasks.
