Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Kuhn
Hi Sarah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started volunteering for fashion shows and it evolved into styling for them and photo shoots. Now, I am a full time stylist for a local boutique and for many other campaigns.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the struggles personally for me has been juggling a new career with parenthood. I was a stay at home mom and when I started working outside of the house, the kids had a difficult time understanding why I was gone so much. The mom guilt was real! Now that it’s been years, they are very understanding and proud of me!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a fashion stylist. I work with a local boutique to style for their fashion shows and editorial shoots. I also work with other professionals and company’s on editorial photo shoots for the social media, websites and seasonal campaigns.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Confidence, stay grounded and trust the journey! The journey to where you are meant to be is long and windy and unpredictable, but stay the course! I believe every interaction, friendship and experience brought me to where I am today. I have remained close with all of them and the community is lovely and strong. Everyone helps and supports each other, by recommendations to working repeatedly with a professional.
