Meet Anastasia Boothroyd of Minnesota

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Boothroyd.

Hi Anastasia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was two months postpartum in a long cold Minnesota winter, I need it to do something for myself, I started looking for jobs but it didn’t make sense getting a corporate job because the pay it was low and day care for 2 under 2 babies it’s more than the salary I would have made. I was on the phone with my aunt and she needed help promoting her business online, so I took a community management and Canva classes, then I started managing accounts from friends and family so I can get more experience, doing this I discovered UGC and I incorporated to my strategies.
Now I’ve been doing this for 5 months and I’m managing 1 client account and worked for multiple brands creating content for their social media, I’ve been building this business while I nurse and during nap times.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, definitely not a smooth road. I struggle when I reply emails and my toddler is climbing me while I nurse my baby, overstimulation it’s something I’ve been learning to control.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Social Media Manager and UGC content creator, I specialize in creating lifestyle storytelling relatable for the target audience. I’m know for showing unfiltered and real motherhood daily chaos as a mom building her business with two under two babies.
I’m very proud of how good I manage the time for dealing with with the amount of work I have, cook three times a day and take care of my babies.
Being a bilingual, immigrant mom from Chile living in United States, taking care of babies without village set me apart from others

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband Joseph, my biggest supporter he took days off of work so I could learn more about the business I’m building.
My husband’s grandmother Gael, she comes over and play with the babies once a week so I can catch up with work.
My sisters and family, always cheering me up to keep going.
