Today we’d like to introduce you to Annette Rugolo.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story began in 1995 when I left a toxic relationship and began taking steps to reclaim my life. I enrolled in a massage program at the Cayce Reilly School of Massage and the experience opened me to the world of complementary health and learning how to move and transform energy.
My path led me to a Yoga and Qigong practice, Cranial Sacral therapy and more. I remember feeling both excited and amazed at the world around me as I began seeing it through a new and expansive lens. I created a successful massage business in Fargo, North Dakota before giving up my license in 2005.
In 2001, I met two very important people who would transform my life … one on a personal level and the other on a professional level.
The first person (Tony) became my husband and we have now been married for 16 years. The relationship taught me the real meaning of love and friendship and we are now working together to create transformation for the world. The life we have created together is rich beyond words. He has taught me how to be present and to find joy and laughter each day.
The second person is Marie Diamond, who grew up in Belgium and lived in the United States for 10 years. She became my spiritual teacher, mentor, business partner and now my dearest friend over these last 20 years.
It is Marie Diamond’s methods … the Inner Diamond and the Diamond Dowsing … that have transformed my life. During my time as the Vice President of her company, I learned not only how to run a business, but it also gave me the foundation of almost everything I teach or do during my soul sessions. I didn’t know it at the time, but it provided me with the tools, the wisdom and the vision to see my life in a more expanded way and to fully step into and live my soul purpose.
Looking back at just the last 20 years of my life, I have gone from being a massage therapist in Fargo and Jamestown, North Dakota to be a teacher, author, soul coach and spiritual mentor. It is not something I planned out but by following my inner guidance, overcoming some tough challenges and by using the tools I learned along the way, I was able to continue to open up to my soul’s purpose.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. In fact, there were years that things were pretty rocky and I was not at all sure I was on the right path or that I would make it through.
My husband and I were married in 2006, I became Marie Diamond’s Vice President in 2007 and we moved to California in 2008, right before the great recession. During the 4 years we lived there, we experienced a lot of financial difficulties and, for a while, we weren’t sure we were going to make it as a couple. We moved to the Minneapolis area in 2012 financially limping back and feeling like we were starting over at the age of 60.
When we first moved back to the area, we had no idea where we were going to be settled. Our children, grandchildren and parents lived in North Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa so we eventually settled in Chaska. But for about 5 months, we were pretty much nomads. This entire time was a time of building trust in ourselves and the universe that everything was going to turn out well.
There were moments of magic that kept us feeling, knowing that we were on the right path, however, and I held onto those flashes of inspiration and insight.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

After teaching the Inner Diamond Meditation classes and the Diamond Dowsing classes for many years, I have expanded into teaching other types of transformational classes including Parenting Our Conscious Children, Healing Family Karma, How to Meet a Fairy, Releasing Lost Souls, Space Clearing and more.
I lead retreats to Mt. Shasta, California, Sedona, Arizona and England on a regular basis.
A large part of my business is something called Soul Sessions. During these sessions, I help people transform aspects of their life that are keeping them stuck. These sessions include karma clearing, soul retrieval, and clearing their childhood home.
Along with teaching dowsing classes, I also do dowsing consultations both in-person and distance.
I rebranded my website and social media this past year and am very happy with the results as it reflects more of my energy and what I do.
My business is about transformation … transformation of the Inner and Outer Environment. The tools I have learned and honed over these past twenty years provide ways to help people transform their lives through the transformation of karma, the retrieval of soul pieces or the transformation of the energy of their homes.
What I offer is a complete energetic picture for people to see and I offer them tools of transformation that help them feel empowered in stepping more fully into what their soul is here to do.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
When I moved here in 2012, I was immediately impressed with the amount of conscious people, organizations and programs that exist in this city. It was easy to meet others who are concerned about the environment, have a willingness to transform and have an openness to learn and grow.
Over the years, I have learned about the history of racial injustice that exists in this city and it is disappointing to see/hear/read that not enough is being done to correct these injustices and inequalities.
At the same time, there are many organizations focused on change so that is encouraging.
