Meet Ashley LaBore of Align Optimal Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley LaBore.

Hi Ashley, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my private practice for Physical Therapy with the intention to help Others and give them the quality care and attention that they deserve. I added other healthcare experts to the team so that my clients could receive a complete offering of services to benefit them and help them reach their goals, all under one roof! Our services at Align Optimal Wellness consist of Pilates, physical therapy, massage therapy, personal training, reiki, yoga, functional movement patterns, nutrition and wellness coaching, and Ayurvedic medicine. We help clients achieve optimal strength, stability, mobility, and pain-free and efficient movement in order to enjoy their favorite activities and live their life happily. This benefits everyone around them, and our entire community. We love serving the St. Croix Valley and surrounding areas!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There are always little “issues” that arise when owning a small business, especially in the past couple of years with the pandemic. Group classes and offerings were less popular for a while there, but our private 1:1 services were as busy as ever. People really appreciate our hands-on individualized approach, and many people contacted us to help us stay healthy and happy throughout that time period. We are happy to say that we made it through the tough times while staying true to our mission!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Align Optimal Wellness?

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
As a young girl, I always wanted to work with people. I was very outgoing and enjoyed interacting with others and seeing them succeed. I also enjoyed sports and fitness. I played volleyball, softball, and basketball in high school and collegiate volleyball. It was important for me to have a career that I was passionate about and could help others stay active, healthy, and happy. I was introduced to physical therapy in college when I worked in the athletic training office with the collegiate sports teams. My husband Beau and I really love our town and the people in it – it’s important to us to live and work in this Stillwater community!
