Hi Ava, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Having a career in the beauty industry has been a goal of mine since I was young. I studied cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, and while in school, I quickly discovered my love for styling—specifically, formal styles. I started by doing prom hairstyles and working behind the chair at a salon. Over time, I transitioned from prom styling to wedding styling. I grew my wedding business through word of mouth and referrals, and I now have a team of amazing, talented women who travel with me throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, allowing us to be a part of so many special days!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting any business takes hard work, dedication, and a passion for what you do—there will always be bumps along the way. I’ve grown a lot through trial and error, and I’m still learning as I go!

Bridal Glow Beauty Co. is a team of licensed hairstylists and makeup artists who provide onsite services for weddings and events. We specialize in bridal styling, makeup application, and custom hair extensions, and spray tans to help brides look and feel their absolute best on their special day. we are dedicated to creating a unique and personalized experience for each and every one of our brides. We strive to enhance the natural beauty of our clients and make them feel confident and beautiful.
