Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Nolen.
Hi Brandon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey with minerals and gemstones started a little over 1 year ago today with the official Minnesota State Gemstone “The Lake Superior Agate” My curiosity got the best of me after observing my co-worker repeatedly bend down, pick up a stone, look at it, then put it in his pocket. When I asked him what he was doing, his reply was “I’m picking up agates, don’t you know what agates are?”
From that moment my amazement, curiosity, and desire to study took a life of their own but not only for Lake Superior Agates but all rare minerals and gemstones collectively. Throughout my journey thus far I have been taken down so many interesting and different directions some of which have been dead ends. However, I have finally found a method that extracts the hidden (Gem) mineral from its conglomerate of build up mineral deposits accumulated over thousands of years such as calcium, iron, and calcite.
I recently was swindled by theft for $900 cash under the assumption of purchasing authentic gold. A deal too good to be true indeed but I was unaware that god was beginning to speak to me in parables. Unannounced to me during this devastating experience there was a $3,000 random check with my name on it waiting in my mailbox to be cashed but that realization didn’t come to fruition until 3 days later because I was so focused on what message I was supposed to receive by this experience which leads me to this scripture. Revelation 21: 19-23
“The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.”
Which leads me to the next verse in scripture Exodus 28 22:25. ( I was swindled for two 18k braided gold chains and two 18k gold rings) ***
“You shall make chains for the breastplate at the end, like braided cords of pure gold. 23 And you shall make two rings of gold for the breastplate, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. 24 Then you shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate; 25 and the other two ends of the two braided chains you shall fasten to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in the front.”
