Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Wee-Woo.
Hi Christopher, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my entrepreneurial journey about 10 years ago doing house party events and friend get-togethers. My friends would always bring me along to provide the spark to the party through the emcee, music selection and conduction, and dance. I loved being able to provide such a high-energy experience that eventgoers would enjoy and keep coming back the following weekend for. That eventually translated into weddings where I have had the pleasure of telling a couple’s love story through the music they grew up listening to as well as the music that represents them as a couple along with their families and friends. Music is the soundtrack of life and it brings people of all walks of life together.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There haven’t been many challenges as I take every event I have done and or produced as a learning experience. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I also look back after every event thinking about what I could have done better. From balancing more of the music the elderly wanted to listen to with the music that the younger people wanted to listen to without having any one particular demographic left hanging and not enjoying my presentation as much as the other demographic. I have done over 400 events and school dances tend to be the tougher type of events as the kids love the music that the faculty don’t want me playing. So making sure I have clean music edits is what I provide in those types of events and the kids still shout out the profanities. I love all events to say the least.

Wee-Woo Events is a company that guarantees a WOO experience for all eventgoers. We provide (all mobile) event coordination, music and DJ equipment production, emcee, and venue for any event services. We provide event coordination and coverage for all types of events from weddings, corporate events, school dances, bars and restaurants, and more. I will soon be acquiring a venue to book all these types of events at a brick and mortar, all while still conducting mobile event services.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Dancing to Micheal Jackson videos in front of my family and friends.
