Today we’d like to introduce you to Corrin FaggéTt.
Hi Corrin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Started at a young age, from my mother’s kitchen, to my church’s kitchen, and visiting family down south. I’ve always asked, “What are you making?” Shortly after I started to develop a passion for cooking that turned into a hobby, which eventfully turned into a new upcoming business of my own; Delightful Bites by Corrin Elizabeth.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far, my journey has been amazing as I create my own lane as an up and coming young black woman entrepreneur. I am grateful for what I have encounter thus far, and experienced during my early stages that has mode my business to be more effective within the community.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Outside of starting my own business, my main profession is in Human Resources as a Trainer and Development Coordinator for a nonprofit in Minneapolis. My focus is to research and create trainings tools that will help strengthen the organization to be more effective towards their clientele and the community.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Invest into time wisely because, we will never get it back.
Build your circle with the same vision and expectations as yours.
Allow your humbleness define your true character.
Most of all, develop a relationship with God for yourself.
