Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Anderson.
Hi Heather, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always had an entrepreneurial heart and enjoy finding unique clothing and decor. I was in search of an additional income to support my daughters and I. With the hope that whatever fell into place, it would not take too much time away from the kids. That is when I decided to go for it- Oak and Eve Boutique was established. I have had a notebook of dreams and ideas for years—anything from a boutique name to what I wanted the business to represent. Oak and Eve Boutique is named after my daughters, Oaklyn and Evelyn. When I think of them- authentic, compassionate, determined, and fierce come to mind. I aim to hold those values close while building a business.
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to where you want to go is never smooth. My saving grace has been my daughters, family, close friends, and new ones we’ve made along the way; I have many goals to reach as we navigate through the world’s changes to keep this dream going. We hope to bring in some handmade pieces in the new year, so stay tuned!
We’ve been impressed with Oak and Eve Boutique, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart?
Oak and Eve Boutique was established in 2019. We are located online and have a small storefront in Cambridge, Minnesota. You can shop our website at your convenience or shop with us in person during our occasional store hours. Over the years, we have found our niche, western! Western fashion has always had my heart. Along with all the boho and fringe, we offer dressy, cute, and casual. Currently, we are mainly clothing, jewelry, and some beauty. Oak & Eve’s number one compliment is we are different; I do my best to find affordable, unique, and quality pieces. We value our customers, products, displays, and pictures; we want to be original and authentic. Behind every small business, there is a family. If you have shopped with or supported us in any way, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Before we go, can you talk to us about how people can work, collaborate, or support you?
Folks can support Oak & Eve by following us on social media, sharing our posts, liking our posts, and shopping with us whenever possible! We have worked with several local photographers as we get new arrivals.
