Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Pattee.
Hi Lindsey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The Fab Tap was a pandemic baby! I left my corporate job in June of 2019. I was yearning for connection with family and friends and I wanted to do something that would bring joy. I thought about the things that brought me joy and I always went back to – connection with friends and family, flowers and a bit of bubbly. So, I thought about what I could do to bring those things to many celebrations and that’s how the idea came about.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all! I think any business can relate – there will always be bumps along the way. To me, that’s exciting though because I love solving problems and thinking of ways to pivot.
One of the biggest struggles for me, as a creative person, I have moments where I am feeling uninspired. I have to remind myself that is common and it will come in waves.
The other thing is trying to remember to focus on The Fab Tap and not think too much about what other brands and competitors are doing.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have a very interesting background, from my perspective. I have spent the past 20 years doing my own “rotational program” if you will. I’ve spent time in Market Research, Brand Planning, Category Marketing, Influencer Marketing, etc. I think this has given me a taste of all things Marketing and has helped me tremendously in building The Fab Tap.
In terms of The Fab Tap, we are known for being an exceptional experience that travels to various celebrations. We are also known for bringing the joy, fun and beverages! What sets us apart from others is that we aren’t just a bartending service, we are an experiential bartending service that leans into Joy.
Any big plans?
We have many plans for the future! We are always thinking of ways to build out our offering so that more people can enjoy our service.
A few big changes coming our way that are not yet public, but we are EXCITED.
