Today we’d like to introduce you to Minneapolis Photobooth Co.
Hi Minneapolis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Angela and I became best friends over zumba, our love to travel and community organizing in North Minneapolis. We both are transplants to the Twin Cities from both coasts. In Fall 2023, what started off as ideating about future vacation plans over house margaritas turned into dreaming of passive income ideas that we could tag team together. We both work full time job positions so our time was already limited. It was important that we could use our time effectively and have fun at the same time. With this company, we’re able to synergize our creativity and make memories which is a win for us both!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the first struggles that we encountered was determining the product we wanted to build our business around. I had heard about photobooths before and even experienced one at a friend’s wedding. However, we hadn’t done any research or the market in the Twin Cities. Most of our experience coming into this industry were focused on hosting community events in North Minneapolis where we would work with local vendors. This business now gives us the opportunity to assist our clients with creating memories that can be shared digitally or printed. Our packages even include animation options through GIFs, boomerangs and videos which is very exciting!
We’ve been impressed with Minneapolis Photobooth Co., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Minneapolis Photobooth Co. is a local women-owned, small business committed to providing high quality customized photobooth rental experiences in the Twin Cities metro area. We offer customized packages for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, quinceañeras, vendor fairs and community gatherings. We have an open air booth that is can be a great party feature for indoor and outdoor events. We are most known for our custom designs, quick prints and fun vibe. What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson we’ve learned is the power of small graphic design elements and animation! It’s been a privilege to celebrate the variety of clients we have served this year through our customized designs. Our company helps our clients create irreplaceable memories and it’s such a joy for us to be celebrating with them every step along the way.
