Today we’d like to introduce you to Muja Messiah.
Hi Muja, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started writing music when I was 12 years old after hearing Rakim’s Check Out My Melody. Been a fan of Hip-Hop Eversince. I don’t look at it as something I do, I look at it as something I Am.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A smooth road wouldn’t be smooth if it wasn’t for the bumpy ones. Scars & struggles are the blueprints to who you are. I used to get frustrated from things not going my way but now I embrace every mistake as a lesson learned. I almost get a natural high from learning nowadays. I used to sit around waiting on people for help but now I take it upon myself to accomplish what needs to be done. Merchandise, booking, writing, recording, directing, I do it all and I love it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a father/ rapper/songwriter/businessman/director/actor and part time comedian. I’m most proud of my children 1st, my art 2nd, my work ethic, and my ability to stay creative and productive despite the pitfalls life brings.
There are not too many rappers/artists that combines lyricism substance creativity politics intelligence & humor like I do.

I work with people with originality. People with ideas. Artists that have a story to tell. People that go against the grain and don’t play the monkey see monkey do game.
