Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
If you would have asked me years ago what I would be doing today, I never would have imagined I would become a dog breeder. Like many things in life, this journey wasn’t something I planned—it grew out of a love for dogs, a desire to build something meaningful for my family, and a willingness to work harder than I ever thought possible.
I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs. Their loyalty, unconditional love, and ability to bring joy into a home fascinated me. As I learned more about breeding, I realized there was a tremendous responsibility involved. It wasn’t simply about raising puppies—it was about improving the breed, producing healthy, well-socialized companions, and supporting families long after they brought their puppy home.
What started small quickly became a full-time passion. I spent countless hours researching genetics, nutrition, pregnancy, puppy development, and veterinary care. Every litter taught me something new. There were joyful moments watching newborn puppies take their first breaths and heartbreaking moments when things didn’t go as planned. Those difficult experiences strengthened my commitment to continually learn and provide the very best care possible.
Over time, my breeding program grew into Happy Farm Puppies. I focused on creating a clean, safe environment where my dogs could thrive and where every puppy would receive daily love, socialization, and proper care. My goal has always been to raise puppies that are healthy, confident, and ready to become beloved members of their new families.
Being a breeder is much more than cuddling puppies. It means early mornings, late nights, cleaning, feeding, exercising dogs, working with veterinarians, answering countless questions from prospective families, and being available whenever someone needs help. It requires patience, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the animals in my care.
Running a breeding business while raising my family has been one of the greatest challenges of my life. There have been seasons of exhaustion, uncertainty, and sacrifice. I’ve questioned myself, worked through setbacks, and carried the weight of making difficult decisions. But I’ve also experienced incredible fulfillment knowing that the puppies I raise bring comfort, companionship, and happiness to families across the country.
One of my greatest joys is seeing the updates from families months and years later. Watching a puppy grow into someone’s best friend, hiking companion, therapy dog, or cherished family member reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.
Today, I continue to learn, improve, and strive to raise every litter better than the last. I believe responsible breeding is built on education, honesty, health testing, proper care, and a genuine love for every dog.
This journey has shaped me in ways I never expected. It has taught me perseverance, compassion, humility, and the importance of never stopping the pursuit of excellence.
I didn’t simply become a dog breeder—I built a life centered around caring for animals and helping families experience the unconditional love that only a dog can give. For me, this is more than a business. It’s a responsibility, and a passion that continues to grow every single day.
One of the greatest blessings this journey has given me is that it has become something my husband and I now share together. What began as my dream has grown into our dream. We each bring different strengths, support one another through the long days and sleepless nights, and celebrate every milestone together.
There are early mornings, unexpected challenges, and plenty of hard work, but there is also laughter, teamwork, and the joy of watching healthy puppies grow and families fall in love with them. Building Happy Farm Puppies together has not only strengthened our business—it has strengthened our marriage.
We are incredibly grateful that we get to spend our days doing something we both love, side by side. Every puppy that leaves our home carries a small piece of our hearts, and every family we meet becomes part of our story. We look forward to continuing this journey together for many years to come, raising exceptional puppies with love, integrity, and a shared commitment to giving them the very best start in life.
