Today we’d like to introduce you to Warren Carey.
Hi Warren, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up in Minneapolis, I have always been fascinated with sports and movement. My father, mother, sister and I were all athletes. I participated in tackle football as a youth in North Minneapolis, aau track with the hospitality house, aau basketball and I played junior varsity and varsity basketball at Osseo Senior High. My background is in retail store management and supervising people. I have always felt a call to empower people to become their best selves. The way I got started in training was I wanted to build bulk to my physique the healthy way. While participating in sports, I was in many cases the one with the most slender build. It really impacted my performance. I could have gone further in my sports career with the proper diet and training. Growing up in a very competitive home, I have always dreamt about having my own business, creating my own work schedule and interacting with people who were in need of encouragement and a blueprint to health and wellness. While I strive to assist in making individuals reach their physical goals, I on the other hand I’m being fulfilled in my mission.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a new business it wasn’t a smooth road. The biggest struggle in the fitness industry is consistency. Many clients think that their body goals will happen overnight, which isn’t the case. This is a journey and it takes consistency, proper dieting, dedication and mind over matter…
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Mind Training Fitness was founded in March 2021. Our goals are not just to train the body but to improve the way our clients think of physical fitness. We believe exercising should be enjoyable and exciting, and that this is the key to enhancing the mindset of our clients. Before starting the program, each client goes through a 30-minute assessment to determine their physical status. During this time we can discuss their personal goals. Together we formulate an individualized plan specifically based on their needs. Mind training fitness offers, serval services including personal one on one training, weekly Saturday morning bootcamps, strength training, semi-private trainings, group trainings and meal plans provided with training plans.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Most important lesson learned throughout mind training fitness journey is that every client has a story, however, everyone can rewrite their story, and at mind training, we are here to help you have a great storybook ending.
