Nicole, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
There are still a few misconceptions about mediumship and psychic in general. I’ll bring up one for both. Psychic doesn’t always mean future information. The term for the is precognition. Psychic can mean any information that is felt through the psychic senses within past, present, or future. Usually the information is given from spirit or spirit guides to a psychic for the client to help them understand the area of focus. Which may include past, present situations in the clients life to help best form alignment for future timelines.
A misconception about mediumship is that you may attract a negative spirit. Or a spirit that won’t go away. I would ask yourself, who is more intelligent, you or spirit? Our loved ones don’t come here to spook us, they come here to help us. If you know the saying “never trust the living” most mediums agree the dead are so inspiring to connect with. They have a bigger vision now, no pain body, at a state of oneness, working in a higher healing dimension. Even if they caused pain here in this dimension, they are one a higher plane now. When they connect they only want to help us with forgiveness, and healing messages.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Nicole Linde. My business name is Nicole Intuitive Medium. I am a medium, and intuitive. I help others in private and group sessions with connections to spirit. People who have lost loved ones that they want me to connect with for insights and healing messages. Also people who want daily insights to their world here, career, relationship, soul path. I also teach people how to connect with their own intuition and mediumship development. Many people have had experiences in their life and want to know more about how to clarify their mediumship and psychic intuitive insights. I offer several courses and also spiritual business course for those who need support in whichever modality they are offering the public.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
There were several people in my childhood and early adult that would comment on my intuitive nature. I had an imaginary friend, and I was very creative. There wasn’t a lot of words or understanding about psychics or mediums back then. Even intuitive wasn’t that common. This was before internet. I channeled most of that energy into my art, that came easy for me. However I had a hard time feeling grounded as more of my psychic and mediumship ability became louder as a young adult. I had an incident where a homeless person yelled across the street my now husband at me. She said “That one right there” pointed at me and said “She’s psychic, that one. She knows!” My husband agreed, he knew I was, but he didn’t know the mediumship side.
That part was recognized by a tarot reader that I had a session with once. He called me on that one as well as at my first platform reading. The medium connected to my grandma and her message to me was that I was like him, and I should develop.
So to all those out there who are struggling with developing or believing they have an ability, I would encourage them to talk about it, and explore it. Sometimes we don’t see ourselves fully first, others see it in us to help guide us there.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell her to not give up. That you are here for a reason, and that through what you believe is your weakness will actually turn out to be your strength. All the love you carry in your heart can never be taken no destroyed when you are connected with source. The connection to others is through the heart. Your unique and that’s what makes you special, don’t try to fit in or hide your authentic self. The best roads are the ones least traveled. There’s always another path. When one door closes a better one opens. Trust yourself, no one knows you better than yourself.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
I don’t know if this is just for smart people, like your questions states, but more for everyone in general. There is nothing in this physical realm that will fill you, If you aren’t connected to source on some level then you will always feel like something is missing. The drive for more, is an illusion. It’s not truth if it’s attached to outcome of happiness. Striving for more without heart alignment is a trick. Make sure you take time to do the little or big things that you love to do, explore the world, and help others. We are here not to just blindly hoard material goods, but to share them with others. Each experience and relationship is a lesson in our soul’s journey. We can learn from everything.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired today I would still do readings of some sort. Mediumship and my spiritual journey doesn’t just shut off, and I really love helping others. I feel amazing when I do too, so it would continue somehow. Teaching, writing, holding circles, it’s just a part of me that is so sacred.
