Today we’d like to introduce you to Ava Lee Rose.
Hi Ava Lee Rose, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started Modeling/Acting at the age of 5 with Privileged Model Management in Eden Prairie. Since then, I have been feature in many magazines, editorials, and commercials. I competed in the Industry Network event in January 2020 where I won Kids Models of the Year. I was signed by Haydn Jones to the A3 youth division which was released and we moved to the prestigious Osbrink Agency. My management company Discover Management has been extremely supportive and helpful in guiding me throughout my career. I have an amazing team of Industry professionals that have helped me land national commercials, print and social media advertisements. I shortly after made my first music video. I released my first single Cuz He Likes Me ft. Zarina and we performed it in LA at the LA Industry Network Event, and we had a blast. The Party starts Now is a fun kid’s Party Anthem that I enjoyed recording and shooting the music video where we took over a school, an entire neighborhood, and a limo ride and simply PARTIED. I am currently working on new music, auditions almost daily, as well as creating my own brand. I have had training from the best of the best in the Industry from Acting classes with Mr. Patrick Baca and Ms. Lisa Picotte to Modeling training from Top Model Coach MSDenishia and Rikki Stokes locally, Beverly Peele, Cynthia Bailey and Carlton Mortan from Dream Krewe. I enjoy being creative and surrounding myself with other creatives and supportive people. I love doing photo and video shoots with my favorite Minnesota photographer/videographer the amazing Steffen Sharikov, whose energy and vibe is unmatched locally. I could not be me without ALL of the beautiful, creative, and talented people around me, and for that, I am forever grateful to them and especially my awesome parents, who keep me styled fresh, always on time, and deeply humbled. Thank you
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been an easy road to travel at all. It has taught me to handle rejection, criticism, and constant self-awareness. All these challenges have made me a better actor, model, musician, and kid. I am always striving to improve my skills and work hard to achieve my goal to become a triple-threat household known name. Some of the biggest challenges have been doing soo many auditions and not getting as many callbacks as I would like. Especially when I try so hard and give it my all and yet it seems like my all is not good enough sometimes.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am best known for Modeling/Music. I love lighting up runways, tearing up stages, and posing for amazing pictures. I am most proud of everything I do because I put 150% of myself into everything I do. What sets me apart from others would have to be my sense of style. I am always the loudest in the room, everywhere I go I want to be noticed for my style and grace.
How do you think about luck?
I have been extremely lucky ever since I first walked into the doors of Privileged Model Management. Craig and Leah have treated me and my family with nothing but love and brutal honesty. They always look out for me and helped me get to where I am and continue to guide me to where I need to be in life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
