Today we’d like to introduce you to Jodi Dehn.
Hi Jodi, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My first angel experience happened at the age of 3. The second profound one at the age of 4. My subsequent experiences increased as I got older probably because I become more cognizant of them until finally I realized they were simply ongoing.
I experience angels in many different ways. They bring messages to me in my dreams. They appear as colors, numbers, song lyrics and even manifest as people. I’ve had times when I’ve heard them. No one else around me – home alone, if you will. I also sense them. I believe that our ‘gut feelings’, our intuition equals angel messages. They also simply present themselves in my thoughts. I’ve learned to weigh their messages carefully as the dark angels chime in, too. If the message brings positivity, is framed positively I know that I should pay attention to it. If the message brings negativity, even though framed positively, I know that I should ignore it. It does take some time to learn how to decode their messages.
All through my life I’ve experienced angels and called on them. They’ve saved my life, kept me out of trouble – most of the time – guided many, now most, of my decisions and helped me to heal myself. Going thru Luther Seminary in St Paul, MN for my Master of Divinity degree I had the opportunity to study them in greater depth with incredible resources at my fingertips. That’s been invaluable as I continue to dig deeper searching for all of the why’s and how’s and more.
I’ve been blessed with so many incredible experiences in my life, and met so many people who ‘live’ their lives. My life hasn’t been so much about me as it’s been about the impact on me from everyone who I’ve ever met.
At this point angels fully integrate themselves into my life. They are my life, as their messages and guidance, clearly, tie directly to my soul journey.
When I retired they guided me to start Survivor Angels which led to my online school Empyreal Lyceum, and hosting events with a great friend, psychic medium Sarah Lemos-Aune, internationally known Tv personality. Together we carry out our teaching through LIVE Beyond with Sarah and Jodi events.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Certainly not. I’m just like everyone else in that regard. We all have our own, unique stories.
Bullied as a child the angels never let me feel alone. When I didn’t have much success with relationships the angels always made me feel loved. In my most traumatic moments, of which there were several major ones, the angels helped me to keep myself together and ultimately heal.
As a young adult finding my way in the world I am so grateful that I knew my angels and knew they brought me guidance. Even then I sometimes relied on my ego which never served me well. That’s one of the biggest lessons that I’ve learned – the ego reigns as a detriment to my happiness, my character and my integrity. Ego busting was the best thing that I ever did.
As a broadcast journalist it wasn’t uncommon to be asked to focus my assignments in ‘light’ that didn’t fit my moral compass. We all need a job though, right? Well, angels can be real pests when they’re trying to steer you away from events, experiences or entities that don’t serve the common good and go against the best interests of humanity. Needless to say, as directed by my angels, I stepped away from that profession.
As far as my professional work with the angels, it isn’t always easy. People can be leery of angels because they believe angels center on religion which there’s so much more to them than that. You’ll find angels in ancient cultures before religion came into existence. This requires a lot of gently guided teaching to get them past that and receptive to the true angels…even the dark ones who play a necessary role in our lives.
Being an Empath also creates challenges. I need to protect my energy from negative emotions and energy which can be extremely draining. Also, as a Pleiadian I look at the world differently, never really feel like I completely belong. Again, the angels embrace me 24/7 so that I never feel singled out or a solo traveler on this life journey. It truly is amazing to feel their presence every wakening moment and knowing that they’re protecting you as you sleep.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a weekly podcast, ‘Survivor Angels’ just finishing it’s 13th season – available in video format on YouTube and Spotify as well as the audio version on all major podcast platforms. As part of that I’m about to launch a ‘lightcast’. The lightcast meets the need of those who don’t have a lot of time to listen/watch the longer podcasts. Within the Survivor Angels podcast I also do special editions: Unveiling Visitants, The Dance and Beyond the Veil – Navigating the Great Awakening with two great friends who are phenomenal psychic mediums, Sarah Lemos-Aune and Jennifer Zambonin.
My speaking opportunities provide me with more than what I give. The questions directed my way along with the increased curiosity always send me off to learn more. The retreats that Sarah and I lead, each unique from the others, offer us, as well as our attendees, a chance to open, expand and continue to grow. Our two upcoming retreats, Minneapolis and St. Augustine will be no exception.
I’m so proud of how the angels’ messages are starting to resonate with people around the world thanks to the podcasts and social media. Followers can be found in Australia, Greece, parts of Europe, the UK, Mexico, Central and South America, and more. I travel the world to hear Angel stories, research and learn, and collect whatever unique pieces I can. I love hearing others’ angel stories.
What sets me apart – hmmmm, that I’ve ‘lived’ angels all my life, through childhood and adolescence, my military career, my pastoral work and life in general. In all of that I’ve learned so much about my connections with the universe from sacred geometry to aliens/cryptids/demons, synchronicities, and time and dimension realities. This incredible knowledge creates the focus of my school, Empyreal Lyceum.
I don’t have all the answers, but in what I’ve been charged to do, my mission, my knowledge keeps increasing exponentially. Also, I’m not here to convince anyone – just keep everyone thinking about their own journeys.
I’ve written 5 books thanks to the angels – all available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other retailers. I’m a regular contributor to ‘The Gray’ magazine. Also, I’m so honored to appear on others’ podcasts as the Angel ‘guru’, whisperer, lol. The angels provide me a tremendous amount of ideas and information to creatively present them to the world. Since I’m also a Pleiadian and life coach, I’m able to craft unique courses, podcast topics, book themes and events. I am so excited about the Beyond the Vail – Navigating the Great Awakening event in Minneapolis on Nov 8th. It’s unlike any other. I’ll also be rolling out a huge undertaking that should launch in September. I don’t want to say too much about it here, but stay tuned.
What’s next?
Keep expanding the angel outreach. Keep learning. Keep educating others. Keep bringing the main angel message – love. That’s the core message that I’ve been given to communicate. Love truly can and will heal the world and it starts with each of us healing ourselves by learning to love the real ‘us’. And. of course, launching my biggest project yet this Fall.
