Today we’d like to introduce you to Miterran Atud.
Hi Miterran, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always star my story with these words of Socrates: ‘No one is evert too old to learn” – As well as, there is no wasted knowledge.
I didn’t go to school to study IT. My Bachelor’s Honors is in Geography, My Post Graduate is in Resource Management and I was trained as a High school teacher teaching social studies.
I had my first computer when I was 19 as an undergraduate in 2005 – University of Buea – Cameroon. It wasn’t a brand new computer and wasn’t even a fairly used Desktop. I would constantly take it to the shop for repairs. Was almost a weekly routine that something would break. This Technician was tired of my constant visits and as a student i couldn’t pay more. After a while he, he stopped asking me for money, but will direct me on what do to whenever my computer has a problem. Gradually, that’s how I became good in fixing my computer. Some weekends I will go to his shop to help him fix easy problems. By constantly doing this, I became passionate bout computer and phone repairs.
After my postgrad, I was posted as a high school teacher, to keep my acquired skill alive, I volunteered as the ICT Teacher and with very poor state of the computers and the printers, there was constant needs for repairs. One morning, I saw that computer awareness is making waves and more and more people are beginning to own computers, meaning the will be need for repairs. I then went in for CompTIA A+, so as to attach a certificate to my skill. I later resigned from being a teacher, switched careers to IT and today, here I am running my own Onsite IT Services and Repairs Business.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has never been a smooth road to reaching this spot. In Africa where I started, the challenges were acquiring the needed skills to be able to perform certain tasks. And here in America the challenges are the competitiveness of the market and the needs to standout and always striving to get the job done on the first try

eSMARTECH LLC is a professional IT and technical support company based in Horace, North Dakota. We provide onsite and remote support for both businesses and individuals. Our services include computer repair, printer and copier repair, RPOS system installation and repair, networking, server setup, and general IT support.
We specialize mostly in business technology support because we understand how important technology is for daily operations. We help businesses reduce downtime and keep their systems working properly. We also support residential customers who need reliable and honest technical help.
We are known for being dependable, fast to respond, and focused on solving problems the right way. We always try our best to give quality service and make sure customers are satisfied before the job is completed.

What are your plans for the future?
In the future, our goal is to grow eSMARTECH LLC into a trusted and well-known technology service company in North Dakota and surrounding regions. We are working towards becoming an authorized service and support center for major brands like HP and Lenovo while continuing to expand our technical skills and certifications. We are also looking forward to building strong partnerships with businesses, national field service companies, and managed IT providers so we can provide more onsite support and warranty services in our region. We want eSMARTECH LLC to become known for reliable service, professionalism, and quality support that businesses and individuals can depend on.
