Hi Samantha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story with CBH Energetics didn’t begin with an idea for a company, it began with a fight for my life. In my 20s, I spent years bedridden, watching my world shrink while being told by doctors that nothing was wrong, that it was “all in my head.” Deep down, I knew that wasn’t true. My body was clearly breaking down, but no one could tell me why. Years later, I finally discovered I had a severe case of Lyme disease that traditional testing had completely missed. By that point, I had lost my health, my independence, and my trust in a system that couldn’t see what my body was screaming to communicate.
Finding bioenergetics was a turning point, and truly what saved my life. For the first time, I wasn’t being dismissed or reduced to symptoms. I was being understood. Bioenergetic testing helped reveal the deeper stress patterns driving my illness — the toxins, nutrient depletion, immune strain, and nervous system overload that standard tests never caught. That experience changed everything. It taught me that the body is intelligent, always adapting, and always communicating…if you know how to listen.
As I slowly healed, a new purpose emerged. I became deeply passionate about helping others avoid the years of confusion, suffering, and self-doubt I went through. In 2012, I founded CBH Energetics to make bioenergetic testing accessible across the country, using a simple hair and saliva analysis to uncover the “why” behind health challenges, even when conventional labs come back normal.
Today, CBH is more than a company, it’s a mission and a community rooted in clarity and empowerment. Every set of test results tell a story, and every person who finally feels seen and understood reinforces why this work matters so deeply to me. CBH isn’t about replacing traditional medicine, it’s about filling in the gaps, offering insight where there was once only guesswork, and helping people trust their bodies again.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been smooth, but it has always been meaningful. One of the biggest challenges came from how quickly CBH Energetics grew. What began as a deeply personal mission suddenly required me to step into roles I never anticipated…but leading teams, building systems, navigating operations, finances, and long-term strategy is something I quickly learned to love. Each phase of growth asked me to stretch, learn, and evolve in real time, often faster than I expected. While challenging at times, it was also incredibly rewarding to watch something born from healing turn into a living, expanding organization, changing countless lives around the globe.
Another ongoing lesson has been learning how to grow with intention while protecting balance. When you’re building something you truly believe in, it’s easy for work and life to blend together…not out of pressure, but passion. Over time, I’ve learned that the same principles we teach in health apply to business: sustainability, regulation, and resilience create longevity. Those lessons helped me become a stronger, more grounded leader and allowed CBH to mature into a company with clarity, structure, and heart. Every challenge strengthened the foundation, and I wouldn’t change a single part of the journey because each step made the impact we have today possible.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work sits at the intersection of engineering, natural health, and bioenergetics. I hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and that analytical, systems-based training has profoundly shaped how I approach health. After becoming seriously ill in my 20s and later returning to school to study natural health and bioenergetics, those two worlds came together in a powerful way. The engineering mindset gave me the ability to design sophisticated, structured testing systems, while my health and bioenergetic training allowed me to understand the body’s stress patterns. That combination is a big reason our testing is as precise, layered, and effective as it is…and why clients so often experience powerful clarity and transformations.
I specialize in natural health and bioenergetics, with a deep focus on helping people uncover root stress patterns across hormones, metabolism, detoxification, brain health, and immunity. What I’m most proud of is the company I’ve built and the extraordinary team behind it. CBH Energetics would not be changing lives at the scale it is without the intelligence, integrity, and heart of the people I’m surrounded by. Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is the power of hope. When I was sick and before I had answers, there were incredibly dark days and I truly didn’t know how I would keep going. And yet, somewhere deep inside, I held onto the belief that I was meant for more if I could just make it through that season. That belief became a lifeline.
That experience shaped not only who I am, but how I lead and how CBH Energetics exists in the world. Hope is infused into our culture, our team, our clients, and our messaging. I’ve learned firsthand that mindset can make you or break you, especially when the path forward isn’t clear. When people are given understanding, clarity, and hope, everything changes. That lesson continues to guide every decision I make and every life we touch through this work.
