Hi Wunmi & Sophia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We are Wunmi & Sophia a best friend travel blogging duo from Minnesota and Wisconsin. With over 10 years of friendship, we have always been each other’s favorite travel companion! Neither of us grew up traveling so we are making of for lost time and finding unique and attainable ways to adventure near and far! We love to highlight fun things to do for women, whether it be in a new country or right in our backyard. We started our travel blog and Instagram because we wanted a way to document our adventures and share tips and tricks that we learned along the way. Our primary focus is highlighting Minnesota and Wisconsin local gems, easy to replicate girls trip itineraries, and just our everyday best friend shenanigans.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our biggest challenge as we continue to grow and cultivate our brand and business is that we don’t live in the same state! Being long distance best friends and business partners definitely has its roadblocks. But we have found a way to still see each other at least once a month, often in new and fun cities!

As a best friend travel blogging duo, we provide recommendations and travel tips locally and globally. When you follow along our adventures and journey, you get to see unique experiences from a best friend duo perspective. Additionally, as content creators, we offer services to create engaging content and promotions for brands.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
We live over 300 miles apart yet we still prioritize seeing each other at least once a month! You’d never guess that we were long distance besties 🙂
